This position is responsible for understanding industry best practices and demonstrating in-depth marketing knowledge to support the execution of the Nicor Gas Energy Efficiency Program marketing and outreach strategies. Leads the implementation of the brand and style guide by creating templates, graphics, presentations, and other design collateral for the energy efficiency program. Assists with material reviews. Oversees and executes Nicor Gas energy efficiency websites and email marketing in support of the overall marketing plan and strategy. Tracks, analyzes, and reports marketing metrics for effective campaigns. Coordinates and delivers internal and external communications include print media and HTML emails. Operates as the steward of the Nicor Gas Energy Efficiency Program. Strategically partner with corporate communications to insure alignment and consistency with corporate branding. Produces collateral including (but not limited to) print media, display graphics, direct mail, email and HTML, digital graphics. Assists with brand development for events, customer outreach, and presentations. Coordinates with EEP staff and implementation contractors for customer engagement. Responsible for maintaining the Nicor Gas Energy Efficiency programmatic website needs. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education, Certifications/Licenses:
oBachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or equivalent experience oIn-depth knowledge of MS Office Suite including PowerPoint and Publisher oIn-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign Preferred:
oAdobe Certified in Graphic Design and Illustration with Adobe Illustrator or Print and Digital Media with InDesign Related Work
Experience:
oMinimum 5 years work experience in marketing, advertising or some combination of related education and work experience Preferred:
o5 years Core Marketing or Advertising oExperience in energy or environmental-related industry a plus oExperience in marketing website traffic coordination a plus Specific Skills & Knowledge:

Responsibilities:
Functional Expertise oUses in-depth knowledge of project management to execute website traffic and review procedures in coordination with internal departments and external consultants. oReview and edit department presentations, reports, and external-facing branded materials and recommend best practices. oOptimizes existing resources and leverages research to author content for marketing materials and presentations. oDesign templates for marketing materials, presentations, display graphics, and other collateral. oOversees and executes Nicor Gas Energy Efficiency websites and email marketing strategy and tactics. oDesign templates for marketing materials, presentations, display graphics, and other collateral. oPlay key role in execution of the Energy Efficiency Program marketing and communications plan. oUses best practices and knowledge to review materials for consistency with brand and identity guidelines. oDesign, coordinate and manage production of print materials, promotional items, and other collateral oDesign, create, execute, and monitor HTML emails using email marketing products. oDesign digital communications including banner ads, web tiles, and Energy Efficiency Program website graphics. oMakes updates as needed to the Nicor Gas Energy Efficiency website. oManages metrics to make recommendations and improve design and marketing efforts. oAccountability for achieving results relating to customer engagement with the Nicor Gas Energy Efficiency Program. Duties Discretion:
Employee receives clear instructions from supervisor regarding what to do and how to do it. Tasks follow set guidelines or procedures. Employee must consider alternative courses of action and then make a decision after considering the options. Employee has the authority to make significant choices and decisions, without specific guidance or direction from the supervisor.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Communications & PR, Digital Marketing & Social MediaEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
