Additional responsibilities include:
interacting with referring physician offices over the phone to coordinate patient care, managing patient insurance authorizations, and working closely with office manager, other patient care coordinators, and billing staff.
Knowledge & Skills:
Effective multi-tasking skills in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Excellent telephone and personal communication skills.
Proficiency with computer systems and programs.
High commitment to customer service.
Prior experience obtaining authorizations for a medical office is a plus.
Spanish speaking is a plus.
