Our client is a manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices.
They operate through two segments:
Electronic Instruments and Electromechanical.
The Electronic Instruments segment designs and manufactures analytical, test, and measurement instrumentation for the energy, aerospace, power, research, medical, and industrial markets.
The Electromechanical segment provides automation and precision motion control solutions, as well as electrical interconnects, specialty metals, and thermal management systems.

Job Description:
The Quality Technician II conducts dimensional inspections and documentation verification of purchased components and final assemblies to ensure compliance with all required quality and performance standards.
Conducts dimensional inspections of purchased components and raw materials.
Performs First Piece inspection and prepare reports.
Verifies the accuracy of material certificates and test reports from suppliers.
Assigns internal heat codes to materials received from suppliers.
Performs when required any of the in-process inspections and tests carried out in the assembly process, including positive material Identification tests, hardness tests, paint thickness tests, hydro tests, visual examinations of welds and others as required.
Verifies and signs off on required factory calibration and test reports.
Performs inspection of final assemblies to ensure compliance to all drawing and customer requirements.
Calibrates measuring tools and gages, as assigned.
Performs when required weld Liquid Penetrant test examinations to level II.
