The Center for Sleep Medicine is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Administration to join our executive team and play a pivotal role in shaping the administrative landscape of our organization.
The successful candidate will report to and work closely with the President/CEO and other key stakeholders to drive strategic objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and contribute to the overall success of the company.
You will be expected to undertake regular travel to all five office locations.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Collaborate with the president/CEO to develop, communicate, and execute company-wide objectives, strategies, and policies.
Provide visionary leadership and contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans that align with the company's mission and vision.
Financial Management:
Oversee budget planning, allocation, and monitoring across various departments.
Analyze financial data to make informed decisions that optimize resource allocation and support growth initiatives.
Operational Excellence:
Set clear deadlines and targets for different departments, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
Foster a culture of operational excellence by continuously identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices.
Policy Development and Implementation:
Develop and implement company-wide policies and procedures that promote consistency, compliance, and efficient operations.
Stay updated on industry regulations and trends to ensure the organization remains compliant and competitive.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and manage a team of direct reports, including department managers and senior administrative staff.
Delegate administrative tasks and responsibilities effectively while providing guidance and support for professional growth.
Interdepartmental Collaboration:
Foster cross-functional collaboration by facilitating effective communication and teamwork among various departments and teams.
Ensure seamless coordination between administrative functions and other business units.
Performance Monitoring and Improvement:
Monitor the performance of administrative functions and identify areas for enhancement.
Implement strategies to optimize efficiency, productivity, and quality within administrative processes.
Change Management:
Support the implementation of organizational changes, mergers, or acquisitions by managing administrative aspects and minimizing disruptions.
Reporting and Analysis:
Provide regular reports to the president/CEO, highlighting key administrative metrics, financial performance, and operational insights.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks within administrative functions and work on strategies to mitigate them effectively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven track record of successful leadership in senior administrative roles.
Strong financial acumen and experience in budget planning, allocation, and management.
Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools.
Demonstrated ability to drive change, foster innovation, and lead diverse teams.
Background in Human Resources and implementing policies.
Candidates with a strong background in HR (certified), finance, and policy implementation are strongly preferred for this role.
