53 an hour 9 days ago 9 days ago 9 days ago The City of Naperville is looking for a highly detailed-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and clerical support for the Fleet Services Division of the Department of Public Works.
This position works as part of a team of Administrative Assistants supporting all the Divisions of Public Works.
This Administrative Team is vital to our mission of providing outstanding customer service to internal and external customers and to other City departments.
Duties The Administrative Assistant II is responsible for performing a variety of moderately complex administrative tasks, customer service, clerical and technical activities related to the Fleet Services Division.
This includes, but is not limited to, billing, purchasing, report generation, and records management functions.
The Public Works Department receives more than 21,000 telephone calls annually and processes more than 8,000 requests for service each year.
The Administrative Assistant II can expect to spend approximately 30% of each day assisting customers.
Responses to calls will include processing requests for services, answering questions, and accurately entering and maintaining such requests and related documentation in the City's CityWorks service request system.
While the Administrative Assistant team works together to meet the Department's goals, each person on the team also maintains individual projects and assignments related to the specific Division they support.
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma (or equivalent) Minimum of one year's experience in a comparable administrative position Computer skills (ie.
MSOffice) Excellent communication, organization, time management and customer service skills Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as work collaboratively as a team Preferred:
Associates degree Accounting/accounts payable experience Intermediate-to-advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and experience with records management systems, such as Tyler/MUNIS, CFAWin, FuelMaster, or Cityworks.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
