On behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for a Network Specialist in Design & Engineering to join the team of a large financial institution in Naperville, IL.

Network Specialist Job Details
The selected candidate will join a team of professionals that are responsible for designing and engineering the data network infrastructure. The selected candidate designs and engineers solutions for new and existing data architecture projects and makes recommendations to expand service and functionality. The design must be secure, cost effective and comply with Bank standards. Ability to present options with financial analysis is required.
As 3rd level support, this person will be engaged to assist in resolution for complex technical issues as they arise. The selected candidate will interact with the lines of business, vendors and internal staff for all assigned projects in order to meet objectives.
Important: Work hours will vary. Most changes in this environment are performed during specified change windows at night and over the weekend.
Network Specialist Required Knowledge & Skills:
o Incumbent must have 3-5 years of demonstrated experience designing, configuring and deploying fault tolerant data network solutions.
o MUST POSSESS a current CCNP, CCVP, CCSP certification or better; this is REQUIRED.
o A written CCIE is a plus.
o Must possess the ability to work independently, be highly organized, effectively direct or influence others and ensure that significant design issues and challenges are resolved in a timely manner.
o Superior verbal and written communication skills.
o Previous experience working in a Telco company (i.e. AT&T, Verizon) would be an asset (but is not required).
Experience with the following is REQUIRED:
- BGP, OSPF, RIP, EIGRP, L3-7 switching, HSRP, VoIP and Multicast
- Experience with configuring and/or provisioning of various WAN technologies including MPLS, Frame-relay, point-to-point, and VPN.
- Checkpoint and/or Juniper Firewalls (They are mainly a Cisco shop but they also use Juniper firewalls; would accept experience with Juniper, Checkpoint or Cisco firewalls as they are all similar)
- Security experience with IPSec, NAT, VPN modules, implemented on Cisco routers and Checkpoint/Juniper firewalls
- Prior experience and understanding of network security physical and logical standards is required.
- Prior experience and understanding of ITIL standards as they relate to incident/problem/change management is desired.
- Must have a good working knowledge of Visio and PowerPoint
Nice to Have Skills:
- Knowledge/experience with Active Directory, LDAP, and/or Web architecture is a plus.
- Proficient in the use of the NetScout Infinistream product line is a plus.
- Knowledge of Nortel or Alteon network equipment is a plus.
- Previous financial experience (trading firm/capital markets)

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
