Electronic Field Service Technician
Seeking full time field technician for busy scientific instrument repair company.
Requirements:
Excellent soldering/de-soldering skills
Able to use schematics to troubleshoot components
Able to lift 50lbs
Good communication and customer service skills and ability to work with different types of personalities
Associates Degree in Electronics
Required to stand/sit for long periods of time
Must be willing to travel 70% of the time
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Drug/Alcohol testing as well as background check for TWIC & DISA enrollment
Credit check for travel purposes
Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing laboratory instrumentation
Provide technical support to customers
Process documents for all repaired units
Maintain a clean, safe work area
Salary based on experience.
Four to six month training/trial period.
No employment agencies or head hunters please.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
