We are seeking a Division Vice President for the Gexpro's Midwest Division. The position covers the Midwest Territory so the hired individual will reside in the Midwest.
Summary of Responsibilities;
This position is a senior leadership position reporting directly to the CEO of the company. As suchprofessionalism, drive, accountability, leadership, communication, financial acumen, and commercial savvy are all prerequisites to be considered.
Responsible for Division sales strategies, market growth plans, process improvements, and operational procedures.
Responsible for implementing institutional policies, procedures and practices concerning sales, logistics, warehouse operations, cost controls and human resources.
Oversees and directs activities within the Division to ensure profitability and operational efficiency.
Leads all aspects of the P&L management for the Division including sales, finance, operations, and procurement;
Sales - Builds and maintains a robust, motivated sales force to drive profitable sales growth for the Division.
Finance - Builds an annual budget and consistently manages to that budget, while regularly reporting on the
financial projections and results of the Division to senior leadership.
Operations - Ensures that best in class customer fulfillment service levels are maintained at every location.
Procurement - Actively manages multiple supplier relationships within the Division.
Skills, Knowledge, and Education Required;
Previous profit and loss responsibility with a track record of consistent improvement
Proven ability to drive consistent business/sales growth
Successful track record leading people and building teams
Strong communication skillswritten, verbal, active listening
Strong customer relationship building skills
Degrees required advance degrees and certifications preferred
Travel:
Approximately 10-40% domestic travel by plane or automobile is required.
